The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up for an elaborate celebration in honor of the late former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his 99th birth anniversary today, December 25. Born on December 25, 1924, in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, Vajpayee served as the nation’s prime minister three times.
In commemoration of this significant occasion, the BJP has planned a series of events nationwide. BJP National President JP Nadda has directed party officials and state presidents throughout the country to pay respects to Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s portrait at all booths, emphasizing discussions on the remarkable personality and contributions of the esteemed former Prime Minister.
As a special tribute to Vajpayee’s poetic legacy, creative programs will be conducted at each booth, aligning with the party’s commitment to hosting six booth-level programs. Additionally, discussions at every booth will center around government schemes, accomplishments, and the principles of good governance, fostering engagement among beneficiaries.
In each district, comprehensive discussions are scheduled to take place focusing on the schemes and accomplishments of the Central Government, BJP-administered state governments, and the principles of effective governance aimed at enhancing the welfare of the underprivileged.
December 25 is observed as Good Governance Day, a dedicated occasion with the aim of enhancing public access to diverse government programs and services through the principles of good governance. The day is celebrated to ensure equitable treatment of the country’s residents by the government and to facilitate the receipt of benefits from a range of government services.
