On Tuesday evening, Delhi Police responded to a call reporting an explosion near the Israel Embassy in the Chanakyapuri region.

The Delhi Police responded to a call reporting a potential blast at the Israel Embassy on Friday and promptly investigated the scene. However, upon arrival around 6 pm, the Delhi Fire Services found no evidence of an incident, as confirmed by Atul Garg, the Director of the department. Both the Delhi Police Crime Unit and the forensic team are actively engaged in examining the matter. The Forensic Science Laboratory has, as of now, not uncovered any conclusive evidence at the location.

Despite this, sources from the Forensic Science Laboratory mentioned ongoing efforts in the search, noting that a security official present at the site reported hearing a blast. A security guard in the vicinity also recounted hearing a loud noise resembling a burst tire around 5 pm, observing smoke rising near a tree. However, authorities within the special cell have refuted claims of any explosion occurring at the embassy. Further details are anticipated to be disclosed shortly.

The Israeli Embassy, situated within the high-security diplomatic enclave near India Gate, is currently under police cordon as authorities investigate the situation. Further information is anticipated as the investigation progresses.
