Tragic Incident in Jaipur: Woman Fatally Crushed by Car in Heated Dispute
A woman in Jaipur lost her life in a disturbing incident where a man, identified as Mangesh Arora, intentionally ran over her and her friend following a heated argument. The tragic event unfolded outside a hotel in the Jawahar Circle area in Jaipur during the early hours of Tuesday, as captured on CCTV footage, according to police.
The unsettling visuals depict Mangesh Arora running over the victims, Uma and her friend Rajkumar. The video shows a group attempting to intervene, with one individual trying to stop the car. Despite these efforts, Mangesh proceeded to run over Uma and her friend.
Regrettably, Uma, a resident of Madhya Pradesh employed in Jaipur, lost her life on the spot. Her friend Rajkumar was promptly rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.”
A distressing incident occurred outside a hotel on Girdhar Marg in the Jawahar Circle police station area in Jaipur between 5:30 am and 6 am on Tuesday. The shocking event involved an attempt to crush a young man and a girl with a car, resulting in the loss of the girl’s life and injuries to the young man, as reported by SHO Dalbeer Singh to news agency ANI.
According to Mr Singh, the accused, identified as Mangesh, was present at the hotel with his girlfriend. Following some time, comments were made about the girl, Uma, leading to objections from Rajkumar. In response, Mangesh claimed to be familiar with Rajkumar. A heated altercation ensued between the two parties in front of the hotel, and as tensions escalated, Mangesh left the scene temporarily, only to return later in his car. Tragically, he drove over Rajkumar and Uma during this return, causing fatal injuries to Uma and injuring Rajkumar.
The accused, Mangesh, is currently on the run, and the police are scrutinizing CCTV footage as part of the ongoing investigation. A case has been filed against the accused under relevant sections of the law.”
