Tata Motors introduced the Punch B-SUV in the country back in October 2021 with a price tag starting at Rs. 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The model is currently priced from Rs. 6 lakh onwards for the entry-level Pure MT variant.
The Tata Punch has successfully reached the significant production milestone of three lakh units in India. The model initially achieved the one lakh units milestone in August, about 10 months after its price was revealed. The subsequent milestone of producing two lakh units was reached in May 2023. The commemorative unit produced this year comes in a higher variant, showcasing a striking dual-tone finish in Tornado Blue with a white roof.
The Tata Punch lineup comprises four distinct variants: Pure, Adventure, Accomplished, and Creative, providing customers with a diverse selection. A palette of seven color options is available for potential buyers. Positioned as a competitor to the Hyundai Exter, the Punch is equipped with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, coupled with both a five-speed manual transmission and an AMT unit. Additionally, there is an option for a CNG variant.
