The new Hyundai Creta continues to give us more content every day. Hyundai has been keeping us busy with teasers and leaks. Earlier this week, it gave us a sneak peek into the interiors. Now ahead of the launch, the car has started arriving in dealership stockyards revealing the exterior design in the flesh. In today’s article, let’s talk about the new Hyundai Creta.

Exterior design

Diving into the specifics, the exterior has undergone a comprehensive transformation. The revamped Creta showcases a front design reminiscent of Palisade, featuring a new grille and inverted comma-style DRL design. The two-step LED headlamp design accommodates both low and high beams. The side profile remains mostly unchanged, except for the updated alloys. Hyundai, as teased earlier, introduces a connected tail lamp design, although a blacked-out element covers it. Additionally, Hyundai has made adjustments to the tailgate and rear bumper design.

New Hyundai Creta – Interior & features

Recently, Hyundai released pictures showcasing the revamped interior of the upcoming Creta. The dashboard has undergone a comprehensive redesign, featuring a new dual-screen layout. This innovative system integrates a 10.25-inch infotainment display and an equally sized digital instrument cluster. Notably, the dashboard now offers additional storage spaces. While elements like the three-spoke steering wheel, door pads, and center console retain a familiar look from the previous model, the new Creta introduces enhanced features such as dual-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera, a blind spot view monitor, and level-2 ADAS.

Specifications

The upcoming Creta will feature the latest 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine, initially introduced in the Alcazar last year. This powerful engine boasts a capacity to generate 157bhp and 253Nm of torque, exclusively paired with a 7-speed DCT gearbox. Additionally, two other engine options include the 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol (113bhp/144Nm) and the 1.5-liter diesel engine (113bhp/250Nm). New Hyundai Creta – Launch & pricing

Hyundai is set to unveil the latest iteration of the Creta on January 16, 2024. In a departure from conventional practices, Hyundai plans to disclose the pricing details simultaneously with the unveiling. Presently, the Creta is priced between Rs 12.90 lakh and Rs 23.03 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). However, with the anticipated enhancements, a price adjustment of around 60k to 70k across different variants is expected.
