Someone’s new year has taken an unfortunate turn, and it’s not just the owner of this sixth-gen Ford Mustang. The incident took place in Indianapolis, Indiana, where the Mustang’s rear end protrudes from a residence. It appears that the house is someone’s home, and the aftermath reveals a significant hole in the wall, positioned about three feet above the ground. Notably, the house is located on Shelby Street, adding a somewhat ironic twist to the situation.
The crash unfolded on January 5 around 1:00 pm local time, as reported by the Indianapolis Fire Department. Upon their arrival, firefighters discovered the driver still inside the vehicle. Images capture the car lodged into the side of the house, elevated a few feet above the ground.
According to a recent Facebook post by the fire department, the Mustang was the sole vehicle involved in the incident. The driver managed to exit the vehicle independently and was taken to the hospital for evaluation. There is no indication of anyone being inside the building, suggesting that despite the significant vehicular damage, there are no apparent serious injuries. The fire department mentioned that they do not have information on the cause of the crash, and the Indianapolis police are currently conducting an investigation.

The intriguing aspect is the extensive damage to the right rear quarter panel, unrelated to the house impact.
