In the lead-up to the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, significant developments unfolded as a new outfit and flag were presented to the chief priest of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple, Acharya Satyendra Das, on Sunday. The attire, a symbolic representation of reverence, will be adorned by Lord Ram after the completion of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.

Acharya Satyendra Das explained, “These clothes are meant for the day when Lord Ram takes his place in the main sanctum after the Pran Pratishtha. The outfit has been graciously dedicated by Kalki Ram Das Maharaj, the president of Rama Dal Ayodhya, who has consistently offered new clothes for Lord Ram Lalla. Additionally, a flag has been dedicated for installation. This attire is intended for Lord Ram Lalla, who has been venerated at this site since December 23, 1949.”

President of Rama Dal, Kalki Ram Das Maharaj, credited the achievements to the blessings of Lord Ram and the support of the Prime Minister Modi-led government.

In a gesture of devotion, devotees from the Banke Bihari Temple presented a silver conch, a flute, and various ornaments to Acharya Satyendra Das for dedication to Lord Ram in preparation for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony scheduled for January 22.

Preparations for the grand ceremony are in full swing, drawing attendees from various backgrounds. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has decided to enthrone Ram Lalla at the sanctum-sanctorum of the Ram Temple at noon on January 22, with Vedic rituals beginning on January 16.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over the ceremonial installation of Shri Ram Lalla, as announced during a special 11-day ‘anushthan’ preceding the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Lakshmikant Dixit and a team of priests will lead the essential rituals.

The event is set to be a momentous occasion, with the presence of around 100 dignitaries from 55 countries, including ambassadors and MPs, invited to the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22nd. Ayodhya will witness the Amrit Mahotsav from January 14 to January 22, featuring tent cities to accommodate the influx of devotees gathering for this auspicious event.
