Celebrities from various film industries gathered in Ayodhya to witness the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Among them were Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, who arrived together at the venue. The father-son duo joined the auspicious event along with other notable figures. Kangana Ranaut, the acclaimed actress, posed alongside her “Fashion” director, Madhur Bhandarkar, capturing the essence of the moment.
A glimpse of the event was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the official handle of ANI. In a selfie taken by Madhur, both Kangana and he smiled for the camera. Kangana adorned herself in a white and red saree with an orange blouse and shawl, while Madhur chose a white kurta-pyjama paired with a yellow jacket and beige shawl. Kangana further shared a series of pictures on her Instagram, expressing her reverence for the birthplace of Lord Ram with the caption, “Yehi janmbhumi hai param pujya Shri Ram ki… Jai Shri Ram” (This is the birthplace of Lord Ram. Hail Lord Ram).
In a video shared by ANI, Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan were also captured at the venue, offering greetings to fellow dignitaries with folded hands. Another clip showed Amitabh seated in the first row, engaged in conversation, while Abhishek stood nearby, observing the surroundings.
Actor Jackie Shroff shared his sentiments about the event, expressing gratitude for the warm reception. He emphasized the significance of the moment and suggested that everyone should remove their shoes before sitting near the temple.
The Pran Pratishtha ceremony featured performances by renowned singers, including Sonu Nigam, Anuradha Paudwal, and Shankar Mahadevan.
