After the XUV400, Mahindra has now updated the XUV700 for 2024. The new iteration of the XUV700 gets a host of cosmetic and feature upgrades.

Mahindra recently introduced the 2024 edition of the XUV700 SUV in the Indian market, presenting it with an initial price of Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The vehicle boasts several fresh features, including the introduction of the Naples Black color choice, enhanced connected car technology, and the availability of optional captain seats. It is important to highlight that these enhancements may vary depending on the specific model. Mahindra has refrained from making internal modifications, ensuring that both diesel and petrol engine alternatives remain accessible. Addressing queries regarding vehicle technology, the automaker has introduced a novel concierge service named ‘ASK Mahindra.’ This service aims to provide immediate support and advice on various aspects of their vehicles to clients. Let’s explore the additional features incorporated into the SUV, catering to the evolving requirements of customers in the Indian SUV sector.

2024 Mahindra XUV700: What’s New?

The updated XUV700 introduces a fresh paint choice—Napoli Black—as a standard feature across all variants. However, exclusive to the top-tier AX7 and AX7L trims, alloy wheels and a blacked-out grille accompany this hue, contributing to an enhanced stealthy aesthetic. The AC vents and central console in these higher-spec models showcase a dark chrome finish. A dual-tone paint alternative, featuring a blacked-out roof, is also provided for those who opt for a non-uniform appearance for their vehicle.

Numerous alterations have been implemented in the features of the Mahindra SUV. Primarily, the XUV700 now boasts six seats, incorporating captain seats in the middle row. Notably, this configuration is exclusively accessible in the elevated AX7 and AX7L editions. The top-tier AX7L variant from Mahindra includes ventilated front seats. Additionally, the Adrenox suite now encompasses an extra 13 functions, elevating the total number of connectivity features to 83. These functionalities encompass Over-the-Air capabilities, an Ecosense leaderboard, an M lens, toll diary, and more. Finally, the AX7L version of the SUV incorporates an Outside Rear-View Mirror (ORVM) with a memory function.

2024 Mahindra XUV700: Engine

The SUV’s mechanical details remain unaltered following the enhancement. Mahindra continues to provide the XUV700 with a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-liter diesel option. Both of these powertrains offer a choice between a 6-speed automatic and manual transmission. Additionally, the advanced AX7 and AX7 L variants are eligible for all-wheel drive (AWD) configuration, exclusively when opting for the diesel automatic engine.

The SUV can be acquired in five different variants—MX, AX3, AX5, AX7, and AX7L, and in five-, six-, and seven-seater configurations. Reservations for the Mahindra car are already underway and deliveries are anticipated to begin from January 25 onwards.

-MX – Rs 13.99 lakh
-AX3 – Rs 16.39 lakh
-AX5 – Rs 17.69 lakh
-AX7- Rs 21.29 lakh
-AX7L – Rs 23.99 lakh

All these are ex-showroom prices.
