The BMW CE02 electric scooter has been observed undergoing testing once again in India. During this instance, the test mule was sighted in the vicinity of Bengaluru, appearing to be in a state of readiness for production. The Bavarian electric vehicle has been witnessed on numerous trial runs, potentially signaling an imminent launch in the Indian market. Anticipations surround the forthcoming features of this scooter.

The BMW CE02 exhibits a relatively straightforward design. The test mule’s proportions seem more compact compared to a standard electric scooter. Noteworthy features include LED lighting, a singular flat seat housing the battery and motor underneath. BMW is set to provide amenities such as LED lighting, a reverse gear, keyless functionality, a USB charging port, a 3.5-inch TFT screen, and ABS on the CE02.

Propelling the BMW CE02 is a 2kWh battery, available in either a single or dual battery configuration. Consequently, the scooter is expected to deliver a range of 90km and reach a top speed of 95kmph, or alternatively, offer a 45km range. It boasts USD forks, adjustable rear shocks, a 239mm front disc, and a 220mm rear disc. These components are integrated into 14-inch wheels equipped with 120/80 and 150/70 section tires.

A potential launch in India is on the horizon in the ensuing months, with indications pointing towards the utilization of the same platform for BMW’s future developments.
