Honda unveiled the NX500, positioned as the successor to the CB500X, on the international stage during the 2023 EICMA event held in Italy. Merely a couple of months subsequent to this global debut, the company has officially released the bike in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 5.90 lakh. The pricing strategy adopted positions it at a competitive level, as it is only Rs 5,000 pricier than the Benelli TRK 502.
The Honda NX500 is available for acquisition in three distinct color variations. One option is the renowned Grand Prix Red, a hue celebrated by the CBR1000RR Fireblade. This variant incorporates a combination of red and black elements. Alternatively, you have the choice of acquiring the Pearl Horizon White option featuring grey accents and red graphics. Another appealing option is the Gunpowder Black paint scheme, which blends matte and glossy black finishes to achieve a discreet and sleek appearance.
Empowering the Honda NX500 is a 471cc parallel-twin engine, generating 47 horsepower and 43Nm of torque. This robust powerplant is seamlessly coupled with a six-speed gearbox featuring assist and slipper clutch technology. The motorcycle is equipped with a set of Showa SFF-BP inverted forks and a monoshock, providing stability as it glides on a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear alloy wheel wrapped in dual-purpose tires. Braking prowess is delivered through 296cc discs at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear. The bike boasts an array of noteworthy features, including full-LED lighting, a five-inch color TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, and switchable traction control.
