Symbiosis Institute of Design Releases SEED 2024 Results

Candidates Can Check Scores Online, Personal Interaction for Shortlisted Applicants

The Symbiosis Institute of Design has released the results of the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED) 2024. Candidates who took the entrance exam can check their scores by visiting the official website at sid.edu.in. The entrance exam was held on January 14 in a single shift from 9:30 am to noon in an online mode.

Candidates shortlisted will next be called for personal interaction. Thereafter, the first merit list will be released on January 30. Candidates who make it to the first merit list will next have to pay the admission fees to reserve their seats. The phase 2 merit list will be released on April 18. Classes will commence in July.

SEED 2024: STEPS TO CHECK RESULT

1. Go to Symbiosis Institute of Design’s official website at sid.edu.in
2. Look for and click on the result link on the homepage.
3. Enter your registration number and password.
4. The result will appear on the screen.
5. Download and take a printout for further use.

Students who have passed their class 12 from a recognized board/institute or have a government-approved diploma certificate with 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for SC and ST students) are eligible for the exam. SEED is a design aptitude consisting of 150 marks, which covers questions on color, geometry, visual observation, creative thinking ability, general design awareness, and Indian culture, craft, and awareness. There will be no negative marking. Students who qualify for SEED can apply for BDes admission in SID. The institute offers a design degree in one of the four primary areas namely communication design, industrial design, fashion design, and fashion communication.
