In June of 2023, we highlighted that the Luna was poised for a return in the form of an electric vehicle. Presently, Kinetic Green has officially provided a glimpse of the E-Luna on its designated website and has initiated official reservations. The nominal sum for reservations has been established at a mere Rs. 500, and the official launch is scheduled for February.
The forthcoming E-Luna is set to adopt its purposeful body design from its predecessor. The framework appears straightforward, featuring a square headlight and a divided seat, accompanied by storage space adjacent to the spine. Based on the previously disclosed image, it has been hinted that the E-Luna may incorporate an LCD cluster. Specifics regarding the battery and motor are yet to be unveiled.
The hardware setup seems quite simple and will comprise telescopic front forks and dual rear springs. The braking duties will be handled by drum brakes at both ends. Since the E-Luna will be oriented towards last-mile delivery, its asking price is likely to be on the affordable side. Along with metro and Tier 1 cities, Kinetic will also cater to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
