– Gets special paint scheme

– Gets a quickshifter, aux lights, top box and panniers

– Powered by a 1252cc, V-twin that makes 150bhp and 127Nm

Harley-Davidson has unveiled the Pan America 1250 CVO and this is the first time that the adventure bike has received the Custom Vehicle Operations Treatment. The Harley-Davidsons that get the CVO badge feature a number of special add-ons and paint schemes to set them apart from their “regular” versions. It is the case with the Pan America 1250 CVO as well.

The bodywork remains consistent with other Pan America ADVs; however, the CVO treatment imparts a distinctive color scheme. The foundational hue is black, complemented by layers of vibrant orange and silver stripes that stand out visually. The crash guard and subframe boast a generous splash of orange, while the seat features skillfully executed orange piping. The Pan America’s design deviates from the norm among other ADVs, and the fresh colors on the CVO variant enhance its distinctiveness.

Sporting the esteemed CVO emblem, this Pan America, as anticipated, comes equipped with a plethora of features. The roster encompasses an aluminum sump guard, AUX lights, tubeless wire-spoke wheels, and the Screamin’ Eagle Quickshifter. It would have been appreciated if Harley had incorporated a Screamin’ Eagle exhaust for an added touch. Completing the ensemble of special elements on this bike are the aluminum panniers and top box, adorned with CVO insignias.

Other features such as the semi-active suspension, Adaptive Ride Height System, and touchscreen display found on the Pan America 1250 Special are also retained in the CVO variant.

Unlike what has been regular practice with other CVO bikes where the engine has been tweaked to make more power, the 1252cc, V-twin in the Harley-Davidson Pan America CVO is in the same state of tune as the other variants. This engine develops 150bhp and 127Nm. It isn’t the most powerful engine in the segment but it packs quite a punch to propel this big ADV to some serious speeds.

The Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 CVO is priced at a premium of $8,000 over the ‘Special’ variant. Expect the Pan America CVO to bear a similar Rs 5-6 lakh premium if and when the bike is launched in India.
