It’s reported that approximately 200 members of the party’s general council participated in a meeting before the registration process. The positions of General Secretary and Treasurer have been filled, and a Central Executive Committee has been established. The council has given Vijay the authority to decide on the party’s name, registration, and to step into electoral politics.
Regarding his entry into politics, a source mentioned, “He plans to enter politics before the 2026 state elections in Tamil Nadu.” As for the party’s potential name, the source added, “It will likely include ‘Kazhagam,’ following Tamil Nadu’s political traditions.”
Often hailed as the future Rajinikanth of Tamil cinema, Vijay, who has appeared in 68 films, has harbored political aspirations for over a decade. He has actively engaged his fan clubs in various charitable and welfare activities, such as providing free meals, offering educational scholarships, establishing libraries, providing evening tuition, and even offering legal assistance. Recently, he organized a program across different constituencies to honor and celebrate students who topped public exams. During the event, he advised students to study the works of leaders like Ambedkar, Periyar, and Kamaraj, encouraging them to learn from their positive attributes while discerning the rest.
