The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the written exam dates for the recruitment of 60,244 UP Police Constable positions. The written exam is scheduled to take place on February 17 and 18, 2024. More than 50 lakh candidates have applied for the exam this year.

- Questions: 150 questions (Each question carries 2 marks)
- Negative Marking: 0.5 marks deducted for each incorrect answer
Candidates can check the exam schedule on the official website at uppbpb.gov.in. The selection process for UP Police Constable includes a written examination followed by a physical test. Male candidates need to meet a minimum height requirement of 168 cm (160 cm for ST category), while female candidates should have a minimum height of 152 cm (147 cm for ST category).
The UP Police Constable recruitment aims to fill vacancies across various positions, including constable, SI, jail warder, radio operator, clerical cadre, computer operator, and computer programmer. The minimum educational qualification for constable positions is 12th pass. Candidates must fall within the age group of 18 to 25 years, and those who qualify will receive a salary of Rs 21,700.
