The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced a revised date for the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) Main Exam 2023. Initially scheduled for January 27 and 28, the examination has been rescheduled to take place on July 20 and 21. The RPSC RAS Main Exam is part of the recruitment process aimed at filling 905 vacancies, comprising 424 posts for state services and 481 for subordinate services.
According to a statement from RPSC, the decision to revise the exam dates to July 20 and 21 was made during a commission meeting. The commission acknowledged the demand for an extension of the exam date from the candidates, and this matter was also discussed in a recent cabinet meeting where the decision to extend the date was finalized. Aspiring candidates are advised to check the updated exam dates on the official website, rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
The RPSC RAS preliminary results for 2023 were released in October. The preliminary exam took place on October 1, 2023, at various test centers across the state, attracting participation from around 5,00,000 individuals. The provisional answer key was provided on October 2, and candidates had until October 4 to submit objections. On October 20, the final answer key for the RAS 2023 exam was released along with the results.
