Petronas TVS One Make Racing Championship returns for the 2024 season with updates on its women and rookie categories. The training and selection phases are scheduled between January and May 2024 across four Indian cities. Registrations are currently open for both segments.
This year, the women’s category will see its eighth edition while the rookie class enters its third. Each round will feature extensive day-long training led by TVS Racing’s national champions. These sessions aim not only to refine riders’ skills but also to acquaint them with the motorcycles. Participants will compete on the TVS Apache RTR 200 and RR 200 bikes.
Eligibility requirements apply to both categories. Women must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid two-wheeler license. Those aged 15-18 must have completed Level 1 FMSCI-certified training from a recognized racing school. The rookie category is exclusive to riders aged 15-18 (born in or after January 2009) with Level 1 certification from an FMSCI-approved academy.
The selection and training rounds commence in Mumbai on January 27, followed by New Delhi on February 4, Kolkata on February 11, and Chennai on May 11-12, 2024.
